Love to Love Ya Baby

Such an interesting week where men are concerned.

Met Florida-boy yesterday online. I chatted with him briefly this morning. He flipped his webcam on and he was quite hawt looking. So we chatted on the phone tonight which led to some ummmm extracurricular phone chat...well during the sex talk something quite unusual happened...he kept telling me he loved me and wanted me to say the same thing to him because "it gets him off." It was kinda freaky folks. Hell, I haven't had a man tell me he loves me since sometime during the marital-hades years. It was more than a little disconcerting to hear it from a guy I haven't even really met yet. It was disturbing when he kept asking me to say it like I mean it. Really? You have got to be kidding me...its all I can do to pretend to care if he cums or not. Damn me for getting bored tonight! I gotta get a better hobby.

*****

Better news is that Snarky is planning on visiting me in early January. He says he can't wait too much longer to be with me. Mmmmmmmmm. He sent me a fab picture tonight on my cell phone....gawd he makes me hot n cold and melty all over. I am in serious lust with him and that is more than mutual for him. I love that I distract him so much that he can barely write. I do want him to meet his deadline because that might mean more time with me in January. Did I menton he makes me breathless when we talk on the phone or that he is incredible looking or that he is super smart? I love the fact that he is a published author (and a fabulous writer at that!)....chills n shivers. A bonus is that he said if I wanted help getting published he would do what he could....to use him and his connections in the writing world shamelessly.

Glowing

Mmmmmmmm! Had another 4-star date with a guy I went out with back in October.

He is laid-back, funny and he loves to read. I have been attracting men who love to read....there really is nothing sexier to me (okay there is, but that is just awesome). Tonight Greg and I hung out and watched I Am Legend which gave me my Will Smith fix for the day and gave Greg the opportunity to conduct his cynical commentary.

Then he kissed me and man o man can Greg kiss. He loves to kiss, I love to kiss...we made out for who knows how long like a bunch of teenagers. He said not only was I a fantastic kisser, but the impressive cleavage pushed him over the edge. Greg likes real woman curves...they turn him on. I like Greg, he turns me on.

*Cheers* Here is to a beautiful end to a beautiful day....did I mention work is pouring in? So many things to celebrate, gotta love it!

One Hit Wonders

The great thing about one hit wonders is that they never worry about a repeat performance. They can get in there, do their one thing very very well and move on. No looking back, no wondering if they could improve.

I can't imagine ever being satisfied with the status quo. I could never be a one hit wonder. I want to excel in everything I do and I am always trying to improve.

Take sex...there is so much more to it than the horizontal. I love to watch movies (infer what you wish there); I frequent the sexuality section in B&N (no matter what creepy men are hanging about); I have frank conversations with guy pals to get the inside scoop on best practices; I subscribe to a phenomenal UK magazine called Scarlet to find out the latest and greatest trends, toys, and gossip; I visit some very cool sex boutiques; I watch Sex and the City every night (simply because I love it and I am a junkie). I definitely put into practice what I learn....well the things that are a good fit for me. How can people remain stagnant on such an important topic?

The advantage to having a relationship with one person is there is limitless opportunities to not only enjoy each other, but to explore the many avenues that sex affords. So much sexuality so little time! Being with one person certainly does not have to be boring if both come to the party ready to have fun. It is a blast to try new oils, lotions, flavored condoms, a myriad of positions, toys, and the imagination.

Burn a few candles, pour some wine, strap some CFM shoes on and a sexy bustier and have some fun. Maybe throw in some whipped cream or chocolate sauce for a sweet treat. Sexy is more than being model thin; it is an attitude, a glance, a touch. Sexy is a vibe that anyone can have.

So where am I going with this? I had a one hit wonder encounter this week. The guy and I have obvious tangible chemistry. We have fun together. We had a date and a few beers, shots & pizza later we got into a heavy make out session that led to other more intimate things. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't want to marry this guy, have his babies or even live with him. I would love to go out with him again, but I think he moved on. It is frustrating! The sex was great for both parties and I walked away knowing I would not hear from him again unless he is looking for a booty call. This guy is nice and considerate and I have to wonder....why won't he be calling?

I think it is the One Hit Wonder Syndrome: "I have had that so now I will leave--no need to anticipate another date with Sassy and have to up the ante. I may not be able to top this date so I will stop while I am ahead."

I prefer to think it is this rather than he was just notching up his bedpost, but I should call a spade a spade. I won't be waiting around for his call and if he does...well, I guess if I am in need of servicing I will respond.

What Not to Wear/Do - Online Dating Site Edition

1) DO NOT post pictures of you and an animal carcass.

2) Lose the wifebeater shirts & mullets.

3) Ditto on the senior portrait when you are over the age of 20.

4) Charles Manson is NOT a fashion icon.

5) Pictures of you with your ex-wife/girlfriend are a turn off.

6) Don't expect a response to an email if you have no picture of you at all! Yes, we are a visual society...deal with it.

7) Please DO advertise that you are desperately lonely so I know to avoid you.

8) If I haven't responded to your 10th email, I am not likely to respond to your 20th one...persistence becomes stalking after a while.

9) Please read my profile before sending me an email...it is a treasure trove of information...like the fact that I don't smoke or that I am interested in dating only. It is also pretty explicit on my distaste of Nascar, hunting, and fishing. Ask yourself, "Would this girl really enjoy seeing my deer heads on my wall? Would my 24/7 camouflage propensity be a turn on?"

10) Penis pictures are not a good introduction email topic...save it for...someone else!

From Dance Shoes to Date Shoes

I had so much dancing on Friday and Saturday. I just love as I see my dancing evolve into sharper turns, intricate footwork, and just flat out sexiness. We rushed home yesterday to stay ahead of the big snow the weatherman assured us was coming....hmmm I see no snow on the ground this morning!

A friend and I are planning a trip to RTP in NC for some salsa dancing. I can't wait to go!!

I got home yesterday and rested for the big date with Bedroom Eyes. He is real nice, but he reminds me of Ray from Everybody Loves Raymond. I liked him, but there is no spark on my part. I am hoping there is none on his to avoid that weird second date scenario. I think Marrakesh Man may be fake....and Boy Next Door popped up briefly on Friday, but I was not around to chat with him. I think I am going to write him off except for the occasional flirty chat. I did have a 22 year old pop up yesterday and asked me out to dinner...he said (to sweeten the pot) that he owned his own home and was in college. He also pointed out that he realized I was older, but that is what he was looking for. *sigh* he is only a year older than my oldest stepson....I just can't do it.

Jadey has been busy, however! She played hookey on Thursday when it snowed and was at our favorite restaurant. She knows the owner quite well and they were hanging out. A new waiter started there named Ben. So Jadey chatted up Ben and finally declared "I have just the girl for you!" She got Ben's phone number for...ME. Oy vey! I told her I want to meet him and then if we want to make plans that is fine, but call him out of the cold blue???? Not feeling that.

Of course, I started the Masters program yesterday and got two new clients this week...not sure I will have time to eat or sleep, much less date for the next two years...it will be worth it though when I am traveling the globe as a consultant.

let the dates begin

It's raining men in Sassyland once again! Lots of men, only a few worthy candidates for my time.

The line up:

Bedroom Eyes--he has the most potential. he is 42, has two kids, lives 45 mins away. On paper we appear to be a good match. He is from upper state NY. Engineer (nooooooooooooooo!) Our first date is on Saturday.

Marrakesh Man--He was born in Morocco...traveled the world, good sense of humor. Older than I am really interested in (52) but he says I make him laugh so hard that he can barely hold onto his laptop when we chat. Dinner set for unspecified future time. He has led an interesting life and I wouldn't mind meeting up.

Boy Next Door--we have been emailing & chatting for months. We may finally have a date. He is 37, two kids, lives 1.5 hours away. Cute & funny. We hit it off, but we never seem to make a connection on setting up an actual date.

I apparently have been sending out vibes to unmarried 18/19 year olds this week...guess that is slightly better than the marrieds looking for affairs. I just can't bring myself to chat with someone younger than my stepson.

Cabana Boy is not coming down next week *sigh*....don't know what I am going to do without my CB fix. Dammit! I actually miss him and wanted to see him (and rip his clothes off and have my way, but that is beside the point). He indicated the same line of thought.

That is the dating update...

It's Shaping Up to Be Quite the Week!

I got a call from Cabana Boy this morning and he is on his way down. It appears that we may be hanging out for a couple of days. As soon as he departs, I will be having dinner with Larry the Cable Guy from my springtime dating troupe. I am curious as to why Larry wants to have dinner with me. You see, our last "date" back in the spring ended with him stating, "You are never going to kiss me are you?" At the look of acknowledgment from me he went on to say: "I am going to be very busy so I don't think I will be able to see you for a long time." I shrugged in my typical Sassy style and went on about my life, but I was a wee bit perplexed.

Larry had informed me early on that he was really not looking for romance, but he liked to have dinner with a woman on occasion and he enjoyed my company. I thought (mistakenly) that the platonic buddy arrangement was just perfect. I was not attracted to Larry, but he was a mildly amusing companion once a week for dinner and a movie. I never got the impression he thought of me any differently.

Larry has been sending emails for several months trying to arrange to meet for dinner, but each time he emailed, I was headed out of town. Right after Thanksgiving, I ran into him at the movies. He was thrilled to see me and we agreed to try to meet up. So finally, he pinned me down this week.

My week will be complete if Mr. C would call.

No Escape!

Professor God had to reschedule this week's date. He was most gracious and apologetic. Grrr...I was really hoping that he was miffed that I was NOT impressed by the fact that he drives a brand new Lexus and furnished his new place with furniture purchased at a very expensive store nearby.

Instead, I get this e-card from him:

The message that accompanied the card stated that he really felt like this (dazed/confused/in love?). I was telling a male friend of mine that I seem to inspire LTR (long term romance) thoughts in over half the men I meet and I just don't get it. He thought for a long moment and replied that he could understand why these men fancy themselves in love with me--that I have a terrific, caring personality and I am pretty to boot.

Who knows? Maybe I just attract a desperate sort of man. It is a pretty even split between the guys ready to propose without a date and those strictly looking for a booty call. I find both extremes very annoying. That is why I find Canadian Guy so refreshing...he doesn't want either. We just enjoy goofing around online and on the phone. It is lighthearted and fun; which is just what the Sassydoctor ordered.

Prickly & Counting the Days

I am exhausted! I am down to the last 5 pages or so of my paper, plus I need to study pretty intensely between now & 7/20 when I take my CLEP for Biology in the hopes of avoiding any more school between now & November. Of course, I am not about to sacrifice my social life for such things so I have been burning the candle at both ends and I am feeling every bit of the exhaustion. I barely made it through yoga & modern dance yesterday I was so wrung out.

Psst--wanna hear some gossip? Turns out Bible Boy is a sex offender. That is right folks! I need to start checking the men out on the internet before I go out with them! Yikes! He was in my apartment a lot! I am hoping my information is incorrect...I did not see him on the 'net under registered sex offenders so I am not sure what this information means. My friend Bea got an email from him on the dating site I set her up on & coincidentally she was at a local restaurant that evening and Bible Boy was the waiter. Another friend with her said he had rented from him in the past and had run a background check on him and that it popped up he was a registered sex offender. This was 13 years ago, so maybe the friend was mistaken. It gives me the willies and really makes me want to rethink the whole online dating thingy. Silly really, because you can meet someone through friends and he could have the same type of past.

It is interesting to me to see the different facets of my personality, neurosis, etc. react to the different men I have dated or are dating. With Joseph I got real quiet and lost the laughter. With Hot College Guy & 27A I got real smart-assy and a "take no shit" attitude. I won't even get into the ex-husband as I completely disappeared from myself with that bastard. With Lovah I am almost militant in my need to preserve my heart--poor guy! I know he is not seeing the real Sassy-Assy but I have not been able to let my guard down completely yet for that to happen. He so carefully analyzes people, conversations, and the like that I often feel like I am under a microscope and I don't like the feeling. Much like an animal in the wild I find the camouflage naturally comes out--sort of like a porcupine...all prickly all the time. Oddly enough, despite this yucky love/emotional stuff, I feel completely comfortable with him. How crazy is that!

Blue Moon Month

June is that once in a blue moon month this year....it started out with a full moon and will end with a full moon. According to my friends who follow astrology, Mercury is in retrograde (what the hell does that mean anyway????) and hence, June is ripe for the freaks that have appeared outta nowhere.

I received another IM from a sassy lovah wannabe this week and this is how it went:

Freak: Hey, I'm Joe from Nigeria. You are breathtaking. I am wondering if you want to chat. I would love to get to know such a fine lady as yourself.

SassyAssy: So, are you an expat?

Freak: Er, ah, What?

SassyAssy: Did you move from the US to Nigeria?

Freak: I am African-a black man. I was born and raised here in Nigeria. Does that bother you?

SassyAssy: Really, I could care less what color your skin is or what nationality you are. What bothers me is that you live so far away. I did the long distance romance thingy with the ex-husband and how that ended speaks for itself (at this point I am thinking, Sass....why are you bothering to have this conversation????). I am more than happy to chat a few minutes with you, but I am not interested.

Freak: Well, give me a chance. I won't be like the ex. I will come visit you and I will always treat you good. I won't do anything you don't want.

SassyAssy: No, I am not interested.

Freak: But, why? I will be good to you. I promise. We can make it work.

SassyAssy: I told you, no long distance romance!

Freak: I don't understand

Sassy loses patience here and permanently terminates the conversation. Really, I should have ended it before it began. He is just one of the many freaks that have popped up this week on IM and email. I feel quite the fortunate girl.

Lets hope the date I have with the engineer later this week does not hold true to this form. He is humorless--and an engineer--I really have issues with engineers. I have made quite a few jokes when we chat and they fall to deaf ears. This guy went from "I know I have kids and you aren't looking for a man with kids, but I am just looking to expand my friends. You seem like a nice person and I would like to become friends." So then a few days later he asked me out on a date! I was like, dude, I thought you just wanted to be friends? He got irritated with me (go figure!) and then said, "well, friends go out." So I agreed to go out as a friend; however, it has rapidly become apparent he is more than a little interested in me beyond the friendship variety. I think this will be a fast trip to the sassy graveyard! Engineer, kids, no humor--doesn't sound like SassyMan material at all!

Freakshow

Overall, I have been quite successful with using the internet dating sites to meet men. In fact, I would have had only one date in the past year if I did not use that avenue. If you have read my blog for any length of time, you know that from time to time a freak will turn up in the mix. I have been fortunate to have avoided the freaks (not the psychos--and believe me there is a difference). Today, I get an IM from someone I would classify as a freak. I don't know, maybe I am being harsh so you be the judge:

"Hi angel....... how was ur day been, how was the weather treating you, i hope u are in good health... i was pimping on profile and when i saw urs mmmm........... my heart erased and i was totally engrossed on it,u look so superb and irresistible and i said i should write u and know so much abt u,well i am Dick johnson by name whats abt u?i care to know so much abt u,cos when i look at ur profile and ur personality i like every things abt u,i think u are the best out of all the women on yahoo personals online dating site .....Your eyes can make the sun rise, or You are the reason my heart beats, or You look so good, I wish I could grow a whole field of you..... well dont forget my name is Dick. please can u bless me with ur beauty?"

I won't be responding to this guy, because he is just freaky to me! I am the best out of all the millions of women on yahoo? And he wishes he could grow a whole field of me? Let us not even get into the lack of spelling, punctuation, and grammatical skills he displays--which is a big indicator whether I will respond to someone anyway.

I might develop a sideline business though. You see my friends love my personals write up about myself and I have received compliments from others about it. I received an SOS last night from my friend Bea to help her with her new Yahoo personals account. I headed over there and within minutes I had a slamdunk of a profile for her. On one of the sites, she received three hits within minutes of setting up the account and one made a point of complimenting her on her profile. I have the gift of spin doctor--or so my dear lover likes to point out. I think he is afraid it might get used on him one day and I have no way to alleviate his fears! Yes, it could happen, but for now I don't think so...as long as he allows me the freedom to play a little loose & free; as long as he understands that freedom is the ticket to keeping me.

Have a wonderful weekend! I know I am with the birthday (and birthday booty gift I am insisting on receiving)! Did I tell ya'll that my cousin is two days older than me? I just called to wish him a belated-by-a-day birthday wish and he informed me he is eternally 32...the apple doesn't fall far from the tree in my family on my dad's side. We are so much alike it is scary...interesting to see the male version of myself.

Gettin Steamy in the Bookstore

I was a wee bit bored with how life has come to a grinding halt so I took myself off to sashay in front of book boy. Book boy was nowhere to be seen when I got there so I just started browsing amongst the book aisles to kill some time. I was perusing the Kama Sutra Million Positions to Incredible Sex when I felt someone behind me. I got my "cat ate the cream" grin before I turned because I thought it was book boy. But no, not book boy, this was a real handsome Asian man in a Giorgio Armani suit, cut to fit him. OMG! He smelled of very fragrant cigar smoke (normally a turn off) and he was bald (really finding this look to be sexy). He reached passed me and touched a copy of the translated Kama Sutra book nestled next to the pseudo-erotica. He said if I really wanted an excellent reference that this was the book for me rather than the commercialised trash I was perusing. He was so close I could smell the intoxicating scent he was wearing and see the laugh lines at the corners of his chocolate brown eyes. His eyes were not on the books though, but gazing deep into mine. I think I stopped breathing, but I am not certain. He introduced himself and I reciprocated. I asked if he was from the area and he said he was here on business from Atlanta. He asked me if I was interested in getting a drink with him and I barely got the word "YES" out. He offered his hand to me and I took it. As we walked out of the store, we passed a very startled book boy who got only a wave from me in response to his "Hey Sassy". On a side note...teee heee heee...boy is he eating his heart out!

So after a few pineapple martinis at my favorite bar which doubles as a cigar lounge (Asian Delight loved the place). We moved on to his hotel room and let me tell you....he gave Kama Sutra new meaning to me. How did this incredible night end? Did we exchange phone numbers and promise to stay in touch? Well, I noticed--most belatedly--that Asian Delight was wearing a wedding ring in the light of day. I was so freakin blinded by lust that I just did not notice it. I have never been in the habit of looking for wedding bands on men's hands. Dammit! I really need to be more vigilant! So now I am wavering between guilt and pleasure. *sigh* Same old thing....I go after what I can't have even subconsciously. What the hell is wrong with me?????

The Dance Whisperer

I was back in Charlotte for another set of dance lessons and the dance social. I was having some technical issues and Nikolai spent time figuring out the dynamics of what I was doing wrong and offering soothing words of encouragement--hence his new nickname, The Dance Whisperer.

I am afraid I got a little tipsy at the social. I usually have 3-4 glasses of chard at the parties, but this time someone switched out the chard for "Bubbly" on trip number three to the bar area. I topped my glass off and headed back to my seat at the table to watch the dancers. I was giggling uncontrollably in a short while as the bubbly went straight to my head. I was too giggly/tipsy to really do justice to the cha-cha, but by some miracle--I nailed the tango including the new steps we just practiced that day. I was feeling no pain and was quite happy. In fact, I was saying about pretty much everything, "That is soooooooooo lovely" with only minor lisping and slurring of the words. Jade took me off to IHOP for some much needed food. I usually can make Jade laugh, but she was doubled over in hysterical laughter at the experience of my inebriated, happy happy state. I believe I even told the waitress the Belgian waffle was soooooooooooo lovely. Fortunately, I did not have a hangover this morning (or I guess, yesterday morning at this point).

I hesitate to speak of my news, but I will give a brief blip of it. A friend--a man--has been on the peripheral of my life for about two years. Some recent events have brought about an opportunity for us to get to know each other better. We have been spending a lot of time on the phone (and I hate talking on the phone, but I sure do enjoy talking to him). We have flirted quite discreetly over the course of our friendship and apparently we both have been attracted to each other from afar. Should I relay these facts incorrectly, I am sure he will be quick to straighten me out as he is a loyal reader of this blog. Wish us both luck that the chemistry we feel over the phone is as strong in person...just a few more hours and we will know for sure.

and Then There Were None

I basically had a mass funeral for all the men yesterday. One fell swoop and bam--outta there. I know you want details:

27A--We finally did the deed and it was quite good. However, he thought it gave him exclusive rights to my time and attention. I went to lunch with older Harley man yesterday. During lunch, I get a text message that I ignore. Lunch with Harley basically consisted of him telling me his investment strategies and his need for a new accountant. I pitched my accounting services. It was about as innocent as a lunch could get. I get out to my car after lunch and look at the text message it read: "So you are busy with some old guy on a yellow Harley at Shakers...blah blah blah". I text back "What is all the drama about? He is a friend and the lunch was innocent...which you surely saw for yourself since you watched the entire thing" and on it went. So he is outta here. I just will not put up with that crap. I told him it would have been one thing if he asked the question who I was with, but to do a full frontal assault with no details.....

Older Harley man is outta the picture. I just can't waste my time and energy with people I know are wrong.

27B--He is heart meltingly sweet. He planned the romantic picnic Wednesday night that was just delightful. He just isn't the one and coincidentally he asked the question of what his chances were with me.....so I told him as kindly as I could that I just was not feeling the "zing". I broke his heart and I felt horrible last night as we had this conversation. I seriously broke his heart, he cried.

So the two that remain: Adorable--still MIA again and a new guy that I agreed to have lunch with today.

On to some more interesting news: my ballet and modern dance classes are paying big dividends with my ballroom dance. My dance instructor said he could tell a big difference with my dancing. Yeah!!!!! Of course, he gave me little details to work on to sharpen my dance....so I went home with a long homework list.

I found a date for the 20 year reunion (that is being held on year 21--brilliant) and a personal trainer in a blink. I was out for drinks with Jadey and Bea. One of the male massage therapist at their place joined us. I know Rob and we work together when I run the receptionist desk at the spa. I always see him in scrubs though so when he came in a tank and shorts I apparently drooled conspicuously. He has an incredibly buff body. I mean my god! I have not seen such a fine specimen up close and personal. So Jadey teased me in front of Rob about staring at him and I am like, "Rob, I always see you in scrubs--you are like totally amazing!" Then we got on the subject of birthday wishes since Jadey, Michael (another masseuse who joined us) and I all have our birthdays in June. I said what I wanted, among other things, is to find someone amazing to take me to my reunion in July. Jadey is like, "Rob will be glad to take you since you find him so amazing." Well, I didn't take the suggestion serious until Jade said, "So Rob, you are taking Sassy to her reunion right?" Rob is like "Sure I would be happy to" and he meant it. Rob did not realize I was an accountant and when he found out he says, "You are so NOT like any accountant I have ever seen or known and this is a compliment." So I tell Rob, when I get more clients I want to get some personal training sessions. He tells me, no need, you show up and I will give you sessions for free. So my friends, I have a date for my reunion with a luscious piece of arm candy and I now have a personal trainer. A good time will be had by all!!!

So that is the weekend scoop. Hope ya'll had a much less dramatic weekend.

The 27's

I went out with both 27a and 27b this weekend. 27b is a real sweetie. We spent a delightful evening laughing & talking. I really did not put much effort into my appearance to be honest. I just wanted a laid back evening so I was quite surprised when 27b told me I was super sexy. Got another conquest....darn it! I LIKE him he is fun...a buddy kind of fun and he is crazy in like with me. *sigh* He is also rather innocent....sweet kisser, not a lot of experience. I am going to have to cut him loose. I thought I would go on one more date and then tell him that I just don't feel the "zing". During the entire date, 27a kept text messaging me and he called me at 11pm to see where I was so he could join me....

27a finally got a clue last nite...he said he realized I just want to be friends right now....bingo. At last someone who pays attention to the clues.

No newbie dating wannabees on the scene right at this very moment. I really think I am going to have to stop the dating for the last bit of school. I have not been able to concentrate on these things juggling all these men. School is more important.

I had a weird dream last nite....I dreamed that this old friend who suddenly ceased to speak to me except on rare occasion handed me a life raft. She then said, "I have missed you and I have made plans for us to go away for the weekend." Her parents were standing around trying to inflate the raft I was given and they were all smiles. Yeah, it doesn't make sense to me either.

Have a happy week ya'll!!!

Big Wheel Keeps Turning

The Joseph saga continues. Karma has plans apparently: Monday nite one of Mandy's toys appeared out of nowhere, I think the cat dragged it out of hiding. I emailed Joseph with three options: 1)I mail it to him 2) I drop it off at his best friend's house 3) I trash it. He responds with option 4: he comes and gets it. So I said, "whatever, just let me know". Apparently, the subtle nuances of my lack of interest in him have gone right over his head or maybe he thinks he can win me over on sheer charm. So, he is coming over this week supposedly to get the toy and I decided to keep this meeting to my advantage so I asked him to fix my lappy.

Latin Lovah was silent all week until last night. The chat perplexes me: he started out by apologizing for his behavior and comments and then we chatted a few more minutes and he said he would never be speaking to me again. Lord save me from such men in the future!!

27 has signed up for latin ballroom. I am flabbergasted! All the guys I have gone out with have made motions about doing that and I just say "sure, sure". This guy not only says it, but he takes the bull by the horns and signs up for lessons. He wants to be able to dance with me he says. He is really going over the top to impress me just for booty (which he has not gotten!).

27B has come along...he is a teacher , aged 27, and he popped up this week. Seems like a nice guy, nice looking, smart...we are going on our first date tonight. Downside: he currently lives with parents to save up for a house. He told me I would probably run now that I know that....I said I would give him a chance. He has no children and no psycho ex-wives so both of those are positives.

Apparently, I am very popular with the 25-30 age group and the other end of the spectrum 50-65 age group.

I did not get to break up with Hot College Guy before his return to India for vacay. He unexpectedly left the evening we were going to meet. I know he is planning to visit his ex-girlfriend while he is there so I am keeping my fingers crossed that he decides to reunite with her & break up with me....save me from doing the dirty work.

I got an email from a fellow on Match.com. This is what he wrote:
"I enjoyed reading your profile - now that is how a profile should be written. It speaks volumes about you and your intelligence. I hate the ads where the woman starts out saying, "I'm attractive". You hit the nail on the head - there is so much that goes into attraction and its a personal thing (what someone likes - others may not). Intelligence plays a big part and I can tell you got it going on. Anyway - I"m not as match on several levels according to the match thingy and the fact that I have children which you prefer men that don't. I'm just the opposite, I prefer women that do. I just felt compelled to write and compliment. It was refreshing to read. Good luck in your search."

Isn't that too cool???

Last nite I surprised my friend Bea with tickets to see Juanito Pascal. He is a flamenco guitarist. He had a flamenco dancer with him. I now want to learn how to flamenco. I met Juanito after the show and got his autograph. He is so very nice and talented. Check him out if you get a chance.

Have a great weekend and I hope to get back to reading everyone's blogs....Utenzi's especially!

Deja Fool

So Latin Lovah....no chemistry in person...at least not on my part...he thinks he has found total package and I found: Excellent kisser, great romancer, whiner. Put an end to that situation tonight. He got real jealous and I am like "dude, we just met, we are getting to know each other".

Here is some interesting gossip: I am driving back from NC meeting Latin Lovah and my cell rings. I almost drove off the road when I read the display: JOSEPH. So curiousity got the best of me and I answered. He apparently saw the picture of me with my nieces that I posted to my online account and called to tell me that "you are a vision of loveliness" and "you are such an inspiration to me". Asked me to call him soon. Guess the man needs a booty call and he thinks (mistakenly) that I have been sitting around pining for him. He is about 2 months too late with this phone call. Not even tempted....the 2 month cycle just doesn't work for me.

Been speaking regularly with both Adorable and 27. 27 has kinda grown on me. I miss his text messages every half hour. Adorable may be coming to visit very very soon (let it be real ssssoooooooooooon). Hot College Guy has not bought the clue like I thought...he is pining away for my company and maybe a booty call before he heads home for several weeks. I just need to bite the bullet and tell him its over....Wednesday nite? The nite before he goes? I am just not sure of the timing...it seems kinda cruel, but then there is never a good time to break up.

In the Blink of an Eye

Well, the dating scene changes minute by minute in my life. Gorgeous Waiter has come and gone. Mr. 27 is an excellent kisser, but I have given him the we are just friends speech. I am meeting Hot Latin Guy tonight. He popped up unexpectedly via Yahoo personals and we have chemistry at least on the phone and he looks cute in his pic. He thinks I am "simply stunning" and have "an incredibly sexy voice". He has been a gentleman and not rushed right into discussing sex and hookups which is rather refreshing. While I was speaking to him this morning (1am) my phone beeps in with another call (????) so I take a peek at the phone screen to see who dares call me at that time and......Mr. Adorable. Thats right folks! Turns out (sadly) his father did die while Adorable was on vacation and he just has been too torn up to speak to any one other than his family. I called him back. I could hear the pain in his voice so I know he was being straight up with me. I gave him the green light to get together again. We shall see...I intend to approach with caution, but I am like a moth to his flame.

Let's see...apparently Joseph's idea of "long term" is 2 months because he is on the prowl again for his next victim...I am strangely able to see his activity in the online dating site we belong to. I cancelled the dinner with his best friend...I just can't do it as the man really wants to date me. Larry the Cable Guy dumped me...I guess he is not wanting to be just buddies like I am. What a mixed bag of events...dumped, MIA comes back, I kicked a few to the curb....heavens I am a busy girl!

You are being served

I got some sage advice from Mz. Boho on my prior post so I decided she was right...I need to work on my visualization skills....and who knows??????

I have been working out about two hours every day (today is a rest day). I have been doing aerobics, yoga, pilates, ballet, modern dance, the ballroom dance...anyway, last nite my friend Jadey and I are working out and we decide to go grab some food. Initially, we headed for Panera's because we were both still dressed in workout gear...for me that is yoga pants, tank top and snazzy sports bra peeking out...with flashes of some toned abs appearing occasionally. I changed into my high heels with the outfit because the tennies were getting on my nerves. Jadey decides we should see if this hip little place downtown will let us in dressed as we were. They did. We had an incredible waiter, Matt, give us awesome service. This guy was fabbo and great body, gorgeous, lots of personality....Jadey talked me into leaving one of my biz cards with a message on the back to call me if he was interested in going out for a drink. I wake up this morning and check my phone as is my typical habit....damn if there isn't a text message from my gorgeous man....and damn if I missed the opportunity to hook up with him last nite...so I sent text back...hoping to see him tonight after my dinner with Larry the Cable Guy. I am so very attracted to him and I haven't felt this zing in quite some time. Here is hoping for an awesome meeting with him.

Mr. 27 is most attentive (wonder why?). He has wanted to monopolize me every evening, but I have let him know I am busy and he can only have small allotments of time. He is okay. I just don't feel that "thing" with him and unfortunately he feels it for me.

Tomorrow night I have to bite the bullet and have dinner with Joseph's best friend. He is hounding me to death. He wants to take me out in payment of doing his taxes...I just want to let it go, but he is not about to. He wants to date even though I have told him there is no way in hell that will ever happen. Do you think if I pick my nose or drop the "f" word a million times during dinner that he will stop thinking that I am the epitome of the perfect woman??????

PS-the pic is me & my nieces....I saw them last weekend...I love those girls like crazy!!!

Blogged Down

I have been fighting a sinus infection for weeks now...guess I ran myself down during tax season with the crazy hours and hopping social life.

So much to tell and I am sorry I have not kept up with everyone's blogs. I can be such a slacker.

The Men:

1. Art professor got kicked to the curb. We met face-to-face and well, he had this depressed air about him and I just had to say no. When I told him I did not think it was going to work, he told me I was the someone special he has been searching for (*sigh*)--why is it always the wrong man saying the right thing?

2. Adorable...hotter than anyone I have ever been with. Father is dying of cancer and he has gone MIA. Somehow, I think he is just to be a really fab memory and I will be pining for the incredible sex for a long time to come.

3. Hot College Guy...in the lead at the moment. He is steady & dependable. We talk almost everyday and we see each other pretty regularly. He thinks I am awesome and I think he is pretty awesome too. I don't see a future in it, but it is good for right now.

4. Larry the Cable Guy...a great buddy. We enjoy going out to dinner & movies. He is pretty cool, but I'm not attracted to him and I don't believe he is attracted to me. It works for me...hang out with no strings.

5. Mr. Dad....decided to give him a try even though he has kids because his kids are older. However, despite being a successful business man, he comes with mucho baggage....psycho ex-wife, troubled kids....I ran and have not looked back.

6. Mr. Corvette...going through mid-life crisis, but I would go out with him once if I got to ride in his corvette.

7. Found out Biker Dude ditched me to go back to his ho that was pre-me. His best friend has made the moves on me....yikes! Biker Dude sent me an email this week like we are still good friends (barf!).

So that is the man recap.

Dance:

I started back with dancing. I travel to Charlotte, NC to the Queen City Ballroom. Nikolai is my dance instructor. Not only is he hawt!, but we dance very well together. I also started some private sessions on ballet & modern dance to sharpen my ballroom moves. Between the dance, yoga & aerobics, I continue to lose weight and I am getting into some really sexy adorable clothing to showcase the girls. My friends, Jadey and Bea, have been instrumental in finding me some awesome clothing to go dancing in. We have also been hanging out in a latin club that opened up down the road from my apartment. The owner just loves us and we get treated like queens. He makes sure he sends his dancer/studs to us for a turn on the dance floor. This week, he made a special run down the street to get us mint for our mojitos. I love the goddess treatment.

Work:

I am really going to go full force with marketing efforts to get my accounting business off the ground. Got some things shaping up for me!

School:

Only 5 weeks left and I will have my BBA! Woo baby! Then a little break. I will be enrolling in a Master of Accountancy with concentration in Forensic Accounting after that. I finally decided what I want to be when I grow up. A CSI in the accounting world. I will sit for the Certified Fraud exam and for the CPA exam. Just two more years of schooling to go! I can do it (I think).

so what is new with you guys????????
